Wednesday, April 30th, 2025
Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Ottawa Outlaws, Lights starting pitcher Vic Pilgrim was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 12-13 months with a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Phoenix skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow.
For the season Pilgrim has logged 2 wins and 1 loss and struck out 23 batters in 22.2 innings while compiling a 7.15 ERA.
