Today at The Clone Army the San Antonio first baseman really burned Phoenix pitching, going 5-for-5 in the Storm Troopers 16-1 triumph. "When he's seeing the ball well," his skipper told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Oliver Pinches doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Jian-cheng Wang in the 8th. For the year Pinches is batting .293 with 2 home runs, 13 RBIs and 10 runs scored. |
