Hellcats Capture Alexander Cartwright League Bernie Brewer Division Wednesday, September 18th, 2024 Let loose, Jacksonville fans, your team has won the Alexander Cartwright League Bernie Brewer Division. The Jacksonville Hellcats have officially captured the crown, the 5th in franchise history. "We've got a team that can do it all and we think do it just as well as anyone in the league," said starting pitcher José Castillo. "I hope no one is taking us lightly once the playoffs start." Certainly the team's division crown will garner them a fair bit of respect, as the 95-56 record puts the club in position for the franchise's 2nd DOUBLE A championship. "You never get tired of being in the playoffs," said manager David Parker. "This is what you play for." |
