Martínez Picked ACL Player of the Week Monday, September 9th, 2024 The top batter in the Alexander Cartwright League last week was Lúcio Martínez, who batted .417 and towered above everybody with a 6-game hitting barrage. During the week Martínez banged out a .417 batting average (10-for-24), 3 home runs, 6 runs batted in and scored 9 runs. Today the West Coast center fielder received the ACL Player of the Week Award. This year Martínez is batting .291 with 16 home runs and 66 RBIs. In 102 games he has scored 77 times. |
