Ford Frick League Announces August's Top Pitcher Sunday, September 1st, 2024 Kitahachi Fukuda took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the Ford Frick League Pitcher of the Month award for August. The 23-year-old Snaps starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 5-1 won-lost record in 6 starts. This month he fanned 37 batters in 37.2 innings and compiled a 2.87 ERA. This season-to-date, Fukuda has fashioned a 13-9 mark and 4.45 ERA in 151.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .254 against him and he has logged 132 strikeouts. |
