Riverside's Relief Ace Top Pitcher in August Sunday, September 1st, 2024 Charlie Hopkins was the anchor in the Riverside bullpen last month and snatched up the Alexander Cartwright League Pitcher of the Month honors for August. The 32-year-old is in the prime of his career and pitching like he intends to stay around baseball for quite some time to come. He threw 39.1 innings over no relief appearances and collected a 6-0 record with 29 strikeouts and no saves while etching his 2.29 ERA.
