FFL Announces Best Batter Award Sunday, September 1st, 2024 Edmund McDonald put together a good August to earn the Ford Frick League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Madison officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Beehive first baseman posted a .328 batting average with 4 home runs, 20 RBIs and 24 runs scored. This year McDonald is hitting .266 with 136 hits, 18 home runs, 73 RBIs and has scored 79 runs. |
