Daig Takes Best Bat Trophy in July Thursday, August 1st, 2024 For a rookie just breaking in, Billy Daig certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the FFL Batter of the Month award for July. The 28-year-old left fielder for the Sandy Springs Spartans hit .354 with 8 home runs, 18 RBIs and 18 runs scored. This year Daig is batting .341 with 9 home runs and 22 RBIs. In 42 games he has scored 26 times. |
