Yefim Merkushin Hurt, Out 10 Months Tuesday, July 30th, 2024 San Antonio closer Yefim Merkushin left today's game with a stretched elbow ligament. The injury looked like it occurred throwing a pitch in the game against Long Island. One fan said, "As soon as it happened, you could tell something was wrong." The injury will likely leave the Storm Troopers without Merkushin for about 10 months. So far this year Merkushin has 8 saves in 29 relief appearances with a 3-1 mark and 2.81 ERA. |
