Big Day for Robin: Swats 5 Hits Saturday, July 20th, 2024 Jérémy Robin exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Red Bull Stadium. The Buzzard's Bay left fielder had a field day in the 7-5 triumph over the Riverside Red Bulls, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is pretty simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Well, Robin must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too. It was one of his best days ever with the bat. Jérémy Robin singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th. For the year Robin has hit .318 with 11 home runs, 46 RBIs and scored 49 runs. |
