Spartans Akio Hara Swings Hot Bat, FFL Winner Monday, July 15th, 2024 So far in his young career, Akio Hara has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Ford Frick League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 20-year-old Sandy Springs Spartans third baseman hit at a torrid .500 clip as he collected 9 hits in 18 at-bats, 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 6 runs scored. For the season Hara is hitting .350, batted in 18 runs with 4 home runs and 19 runs scored. |
