Mustang Toyokazu Murayama Swings Hot Bat, FFL Winner Monday, July 1st, 2024 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Ford Frick League, but last week Toyokazu Murayama of the Carson City Mustang reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Murayama rocked opposing pitching for a .423 average (11-for-26), 4 home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award. Hitting .351 to date, Murayama has 5 home runs and 17 RBIs.
