Injury Takes Toll, Maurice Hesmondhalgh Out Saturday, May 4th, 2024 It was announced today in San Antonio that Storm Troopers starting pitcher Maurice Hesmondhalgh will be on the mend for 7 months because of a torn rotator cuff he sustained in a recent game against the Riverside Red Bulls. Hesmondhalgh was injured throwing a pitch. Thus far this season, Hesmondhalgh has worked 43.1 innings with 36 strikeouts en route to a 1-0 record and a 2.28 ERA. |
