Chávez Sizzles -- Smokes Outlaws for 5 Hits Saturday, May 4th, 2024 Wichita shortstop Edgardo Chávez really sparkled with the bat today against the Outlaws. He led the Wolverines to a 11-3 win over Ottawa by going 5-for-6. Edgardo Chávez singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jorge Díaz in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. Currently Chávez has 1 home run and a .256 batting average. |
