Pedro Kalthoff out 5 Months With Injury Friday, May 3rd, 2024 After the end of today's game between Newark and Sandy Springs, Pedro Kalthoff skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch, the Jail Birds had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The reliever will miss at least 5 months with a sore shoulder. For the season Kalthoff has made 11 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 0-0 won-lost mark and a 3.42 ERA. In pitching 26.1 innings, he has totaled 16 strikeouts and 13 walks. |
