Alexander Cartwright League Pitcher of the Year Named Tuesday, October 31st, 2023 23-year-old Fu-po Eng of the Silicon Valley Hackers put together a good year in 2023 for such a young player. Eng was named today as the winner of the Alexander Cartwright League Cy Young Award. Eng crafted an impressive 12-2 record and a 1.58 ERA. In 113.2 innings he allowed 74 hits, struck out 103, and walked 51. Wing-chiu Zhou of the Silicon Valley Hackers finished second in voting, while Domingo Moreno of the Riverside Red Bulls finished third. |
