This promising rookie second baseman for Asheville garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 24-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .556 (10-18) with 2 home runs and 7 RBIs last week. This year Davis is hitting .236 with 4 home runs and 38 RBIs in 66 games played.
