August's FFL Batter of Month Award Announced Friday, September 1st, 2023 Hideyoshi Ine put together a good August to earn the Ford Frick League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Long Island officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Ducks first baseman posted a .377 batting average with 8 home runs, 18 RBIs and 18 runs scored. Looking at his present stats, Ine has compiled a .316 batting average in 87 games with a .462 on-base percentage, while hitting 13 home runs and driving in 38 runs. |
