Baldivía Bombs 3 HR Against Ottawa Wednesday, July 26th, 2023 Regardless of where you stand on the "hardest thing to do in sports" argument, one thing everyone can agree on, is that hitting three home runs in one game is quite an amazing feat. That's exactly what Manuel Baldivía did today at Parliament Field. He went deep three times and carried his team to victory in the Jacksonville Hellcats 12-2 win over Ottawa. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Baldivía said. "Good things happen, when that happens." He blistered the Outlaws for 4 hits, batted in 5 runs and scored 4 times. The Ottawa skipper said, "It ain't like we weren't trying. He was hot and really torched my boys today." Manuel Baldivía hit a two-run home run off Pin-zhen Sun in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Pin-zhen Sun in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Pamphile Cencio in the 7th and was hit by a pitch in the 8th. Baldivía is currently hitting at a .233 pace with 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and has scored 7 times. |
