Red Bulls-Beetlecats Fight Nets 10-Game Suspensions Sunday, July 23rd, 2023 "I don't think I did anything wrong. I think my actions were justified." Those were the words of Riverside's Joe Bennett after a game between the Red Bulls and Beetlecats, which featured a benches-clearing fight. The league did not agree, however, both Bennett and the Beetlecats Vic Vincent will be suspended 10 games because of their actions. To date Bennett has chalked up a .275 average with 3 home runs, driven in 41 runs and scored 42 times. This season Vincent has fanned 111 in 114 innings and collected a 6-9 record with a 6.00 ERA. |
