Austin Ward Hurt, Out 8 Months Sunday, July 16th, 2023 Disappointing news today for Long Island Ducks fans. Austin Ward was hurt running the bases in their game against the Wichita Wolverines and has a broken kneecap. Team trainers were hesitant to predict a date for return but said it was likely the injury will keep the center fielder out at least 8 months. Thus far this year Ward has hit .279 with 9 home runs and 41 RBIs. |
