Rams Chill Hernández's Hot Streak Sunday, July 2nd, 2023 The Frisco Rams got more than a 11-2 victory over Ottawa today at Outlander Park. They put an end to José Hernández's 23-game hitting spree by holding him without a hit in 4 at-bats. But it was no big deal to the Outlaws shortstop. Hernández seemed to feel more for his team than himself. "I had some great looks at some pitches that I should have hit. I missed some that I shouldn't have swung at. All in all, I wasn't much help with the bat today." Hitting .274 to date, Hernández has 3 home runs and 38 RBIs. He has played in 80 games. |
