Takahashi Nabs FFL #1 Pitcher Award Saturday, July 1st, 2023 Yoshitora Takahashi took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the Ford Frick League Pitcher of the Month award for June. The 19-year-old Snaps starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 4-1 won-lost record in 6 starts. This month he fanned 32 batters in 41 innings and compiled a 2.41 ERA. Presently Takahashi has a 7-3 mark in 12 starts with a 2.91 ERA. He has given up 60 hits in 80.1 innings, struck out 61 and issued 38 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .205 batting average against him. |
