Wolthuis Wins ACL's Best Bat Trophy Saturday, July 1st, 2023 Even though he is a newcomer to DOUBLE A, Volmer Wolthuis put up some good numbers in June and earned the ACL Batter of the Month award. He was one of Asheville's offensive leaders with a .337 average in 26 games. He also racked up 11 home runs, 29 RBIs, and 26 runs scored. This season Wolthuis is batting .343 with 46 hits and 14 home runs. He has scored 34 times and has 41 runs batted in. |
