Steele Goes 5-5 Tuesday, June 27th, 2023 It seemed that Frisco first baseman Will Steele could do no wrong as the Rams kayoed the Wolves 17-5 today as he rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Lake of the Isles pitchers couldn't get him out as Steele seemed to know which pitches they were throwing. "I think the Rams were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Lake of the Isles fan. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Steele in the postgame press interview. Will Steele singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Kurt Williams in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 7th. On the season, Steele is batting .320 with 14 home runs and 56 RBIs. He has played in 78 games. |
