Big Bat Pays Off, Ruíz Player of the Week Monday, June 26th, 2023 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Ford Frick League, but last week Júlio Ruíz of the New York Ninjas reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Ruíz rocked opposing pitching for a .600 average (12-20), no home runs and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. A look at his current stats shows Ruíz with a .325 average, no home runs, 25 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has played in 72 games. |
