Rams Ira Stapel Hurt Tuesday, June 20th, 2023 Ira Stapel of the Frisco Rams was injured in today's game against Ottawa and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is bone chips in his elbow and he is expected to be out for up to 4 months. It happened while Stapel was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." In 2023 Stapel has collected 12 saves. He has 33 strikeouts and 14 walks in 32 innings while registering a 3.66 ERA and a 5-1 won-lost record. |
