Great Day for Wolthuis -- 5 Hits Thursday, June 1st, 2023 It was a magical day at the plate for the Tourists Volmer Wolthuis. The 21-year-old third baseman helped lift Asheville to a 7-6 win over the Ottawa Outlaws today at Parliament Field. Wolthuis smacked 5 hits in 5 at-bats to spark his club to victory. Volmer Wolthuis singled in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Josuke Okada in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
