May's Best FFL Hurler is Fukuda Thursday, June 1st, 2023 Kitahachi Fukuda took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the Ford Frick League Pitcher of the Month award for May. The 22-year-old Wolverines starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 5-1 won-lost record in 6 starts. This month he fanned 24 batters in 41 innings and compiled a 2.20 ERA. Checking out his stats for the season, Fukuda has racked up 6 wins and 4 losses in 12 starts, 2.91 ERA and struck out 49 batters in 77.1 innings. |
