ACL's Top Player, Vu-Pham of Buzzard's Bay Monday, May 29th, 2023 20-year-old Vui Vu-Pham made a few Buzzard's Bay headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Alexander Cartwright League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 8 hits in 23 at-bats to put up a .348 average. Vu-Pham collected 3 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 6 runs. In this current campaign Vu-Pham is hitting at a .274 clip with 10 home runs and 43 RBIs. |
