San Antonio-Frisco Brawl, Pinches and Hark Suspended Monday, May 8th, 2023 Oliver Pinches of the San Antonio Storm Troopers was not happy with Kao-tsu Hark, and his frustration showed when he went after the Frisco player during yesterday's game at The Clone Army. Both benches cleared as they rushed to the aid of their teammates. Order was soon restored as Pinches and Hark were pulled away from each other. They were ejected from the game. Both players were suspended 10 games by the league office as a result of their tussle. "It's something that happens in baseball every once in a while," Pinches commented later. "We get frustrated with another player and sometimes things go too far. We'll both take our suspensions and then come back ready to play. I got no hard feelings." In his stats this season, Pinches has posted a batting average of .279 with 31 hits in 111 at-bats, 4 home runs and 28 RBIs. He has also scored 18 runs, walked 19 times and compiled a .414 OBP. This season Hark has made 10 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 0-0 won-lost mark and a 7.24 ERA. In pitching 13.2 innings, he has totaled 15 strikeouts and 14 walks. |
