Ouch! Brian Henderson Shelved by Injury Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Beehive when after today's game against the Rats, the club found out they would be without the services of Brian Henderson for at least 14 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Henderson was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered a damaged elbow ligament. This year Henderson has 9 relief appearances with no saves, 0-0 season record and a 1.23 ERA. He has hurled 7.1 innings, given up 8 hits, struck out 3 and walked 7. Opposing clubs have batted .320 against the Madison reliever. |
