Evans Goes on Rampage Against Tourists Friday, April 21st, 2023 The Silicon Valley Hackers upended the Asheville Tourists at San Jose Municipal Stadium today in large part to shortstop Jeffrey Evans, who had a smashing day with the bat -- he racked up 5 hits in 7 at-bats -- and help propel the Hackers to a 7-6 victory. Jeffrey Evans flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 8th, struck out in the 10th, doubled in the 13th and singled in the 15th. For the season Evans is batting .270 with 17 hits and no home runs. He has scored 13 times and batted in 9. |
