Jorge Martínez Winner in September Saturday, October 1st, 2022 Jorge Martínez is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Riverside third baseman joined that select company when the Alexander Cartwright League announced the results of September's voting. Martínez totaled 46 hits, 26 walks, 5 home runs, 32 RBIs and 27 runs scored last month to put together a .442 batting average and .553 on-base percentage. So far this season, Martínez has recorded a .295 batting average with 151 hits, 16 home runs, 83 RBIs, 115 runs scored and a .417 OBP. |
