Travis Smith to Miss 8 Months Monday, September 26th, 2022 The Jail Birds Travis Smith was injured throwing a pitch during today's game against the Frisco Rams. The team doctor expects the starting pitcher to miss 8 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. No roster changes were announced by team officials. Up to now Smith has compiled an ERA of 8.19 with a 1-5 mark over 13 starts. He has 33 strikeouts in 48.1 innings and has held opponents to a .308 batting average. |
