Miyata and Amano Fight, Suspended 5 Games Tuesday, September 6th, 2022 Jacksonville and West Coast were informed today by the league's commissioner that two of their players have been given 5-game suspensions, citing their "inappropriate actions" in the recent altercation in a game played at Hellcats Park. For their parts in the bench-clearing episode, the Hellcats Tokuhei Miyata and the Defenders Tsuyoshi Amano will be sitting on the sidelines and will not be permitted to participate in games until the suspensions are served. On the season, Miyata is batting .206 with 6 home runs and 17 RBIs. He has played in 68 games. This season-to-date Amano has 7 wins and 3 losses and a 5.27 ERA. |
