Week's #1 Player: Buzzard's Bay's Grove Monday, September 5th, 2022 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Alexander Cartwright League, but last week Alistair Grove of the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Grove rocked opposing pitching for a .483 average (14-29), no home runs and 10 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Grove is batting .300 with 21 home runs. He has scored 98 runs and driven in 94. |
