Pacheco and Davis Suspended 2 Games For Brawl
Saturday, August 20th, 2022
Bad blood could be brewing between the Ninjas and the Hawks. In yesterday's contest at Confucius Field, New York's Juan Pacheco and Boise's Troy Davis caused the benches to empty when they went toe-to-toe against one another. Only Pacheco and Davis were ejected by the umpires.
Upon hearing that the two players had been suspended 2 games each by the league office, harsh comments came from both clubhouses.
League officials have warned both organizations about the consequences of premeditated retaliation.
Presently Pacheco is batting .331 and has collected 11 home runs, 30 RBIs, .424 OBP and scored 29 runs.
Davis has no saves this season with a won-lost record of 5-1 and 3.72 ERA.
