Tourists Alden Wood Wins ACL Award Monday, August 1st, 2022 It was a week to remember for Alden Wood. After wrapping up a torrid week at the plate, the Asheville Tourists right fielder was named the Alexander Cartwright League Player of the Week. Wood collected 8 hits in 16 at-bats for a .500 average. He also accounted for 13 RBIs, 3 home runs and scored 6 runs. To date this year Wood is batting .311 with 27 home runs. |
