Week's Top Player: Riverside's O'Connor Monday, June 27th, 2022 So far in his young career, Scott O'Connor has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Alexander Cartwright League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Riverside Red Bulls right fielder hit at a torrid .571 clip as he collected 12 hits in 21 at-bats, 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 9 runs scored. This year O'Connor has batted at a .314 pace with 82 hits, 10 home runs, 48 RBIs and scored 52 times. |
