Temple's Chen to Miss 4 Months Monday, June 6th, 2022 Temple Goers reliever Mei-shan Chen left yesterday's game against the Silicon Valley Hackers after suffering shoulder inflammation throwing a pitch. Chen was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Chen is expected to miss 4 months. This year Chen has 14 relief appearances with no saves, 1-0 season record and a 11.40 ERA. He has hurled 15 innings, given up 23 hits, struck out 12 and walked 18.
