Jacksonville Starter Named ACL's Top Pitcher Wednesday, June 1st, 2022 Over the past month Alberto Rivera has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Alexander Cartwright League. He proved all that and now he's been named May's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Jacksonville Hellcats posted 4-0 mark and a 3.60 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 35 innings, permitted 32 hits and fanned 34 batters. Rivera has made 11 starts, tossed 65.2 innings, struck out 60 batters and walked 51. His record is 6-2 with a 4.93 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .238 batting average. |
