Dharuna Sizzles -- Smokes Outlaws for 5 Hits Sunday, May 8th, 2022 There are moments in a player's career that are etched into their memories forever. Jaganmani Dharuna of the Carson City Mustang had one of those moments when he went 5 for 5 at the plate today in the 27-1 win over the Ottawa Outlaws at Parliament Field. The 18-year-old shortstop told reporters in the postgame interview, "This is a day I won't forget soon, but I'll settle to just get a hit or two every day... enough hits to hang around the league a little bit longer... like 10... 15 more years maybe." Jaganmani Dharuna hit a two-run single in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th. This year Dharuna has hit at a .387 clip with 16 RBIs, 2 home runs and 20 runs scored. |
