Free-for-All Costs Hill and Coffin 8-Game Suspensions
Saturday, May 7th, 2022
Jason Hill of the Frisco Rams and Len Coffin of the Phoenix Lights will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended 8 games apiece by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Rams-Lights game at Outlander Park.
Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Hill and Coffin will begin serving them soon.
In 29 games Hill is hitting .274 this season with 29 hits, 3 home runs, 21 RBIs, 18 walks, .395 OBP and has scored 18 runs.
Thus far this season Coffin has compiled a 0-1 record, made 6 relief appearances with no saves, hurling 10.1 innings and striking out 10. He has held the opposition to a .263 batting average with a 4.35 ERA.
