Just ask Ilies Philibert, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Sandy Springs Spartans reliever, 27, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .133 average and walked away with the Ford Frick League Pitcher of the Month award for April. Philibert posted a 3-0 mark and a 0.98 ERA in 7 relief appearances. In 18.1 innings, he had 1 save, 27 strikeouts, and 8 walks. |
