Red-Hot Armstrong Scorches Ducks Sunday, April 24th, 2022 Ryan Armstrong did more than his part as Carson City trimmed Long Island today at Long Island Stadium. The Mustang catcher pounded out 5 hits to pace his team to a 20-2 thumping of the Ducks. Ryan Armstrong singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th. This season Armstrong has banged out 18 hits in 70 at-bats for a .257 average with 4 home runs. He is getting on base at a .354 pace and his totals also include 20 RBIs and 8 runs scored. |
