Potts Goes on Rampage Against Ducks Sunday, April 24th, 2022 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Carson City's David Potts had a very special day against the Ducks when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Carson City Mustang to a 20-2 win at Long Island Stadium. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Potts said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." David Potts hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Ronald Reese in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This year Potts is batting .345 with 19 hits, 2 home runs, 10 RBIs, 14 walks, .479 OBP and has scored 9 runs. |
