Wolves Chill Pittman's Hot Streak Sunday, April 24th, 2022 The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats lost to the Lake of the Isles Wolves 4-3 today at Bloomfield Road, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Pat Pittman's 22-game hitting streak. "We felt if we could slow down Pittman, we would win the game," the Wolves manager explained after the game. "They really seemed to feed off of his streak, so we really wanted to make sure they had nothing to feed off of." Pittman is currently hitting at a .366 pace with 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and has scored 12 times. |
