Ford Frick League Announces August's Best Batter Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 Hot-hitting first baseman Wes Alexander of the Sandy Springs Spartans really pounded opposing pitchers in August and collected Ford Frick League Batter of the Month honors. He hit .349 with 9 home runs and 32 RBIs and scored 12 runs. Thus far this year Alexander is hitting .366 with 21 home runs, 70 RBIs and 50 runs scored. |
