Muralidaran Purujit Selected August's Best Batter Wednesday, September 1st, 2021 Muralidaran Purujit, the Silicon Valley right fielder, certainly made a name for himself this past month. He banged out a .320 batting average with 33 hits, 9 home runs, 32 RBIs and scored 22 times. That kind of hitting earned him the Alexander Cartwright League Batter of the Month honors for August. This year Purujit is batting .263 with 24 home runs and 75 RBIs. |
